Halsey Channels Cher to Promote New Album The Great Impersonator

Halsey is transforming into Cher as part of the promotion for her upcoming album, The Great Impersonator, set to be released on October 25. According to the singer, the 78-year-old icon was the inspiration behind the track “Letter to God (1974).”

“Undisputed Queen. One of my favorite Cher songs, ‘Dark Lady,’ was a number one hit in 1974. It’s still number one in my heart today,” Halsey shared enthusiastically.

Halsey has been impersonating a different music icon each day, sharing snippets of the songs they’ve inspired. So far, in addition to Cher, she has transformed into Dolly Parton, Kate Bush, and PJ Harvey, delighting fans with her creative tributes and musical diversity.
