Country music sensation Chris Stapleton is gearing up to deliver a musical treat this fall with his upcoming album, Higher. Scheduled for release on November 10th, Higher marks Stapleton’s eagerly awaited return since his critically acclaimed 2020 album Starting Over.

The excitement surrounding Higher has been amplified with the release of its debut single, “White Horse,” a riveting track co-written by Stapleton himself alongside Dan Wilson, renowned for his work with Semisonic. This collaboration rekindles the creative spark that previously brought us Stapleton’s hit “When the Stars Come Out” back in 2015.

Fans can already secure their copy of Higher by preordering the album, which promises to be a rich tapestry of Stapleton’s signature sound. Co-produced by Stapleton alongside his wife Morgane Stapleton and longtime collaborator Dave Cobb, the album features an ensemble of talented musicians. Among them are bassist J.T. Cure, pedal steel guitarist Paul Franklin, pianist Lee Pardini, and drummer Derek Mixon, all contributing to create the distinctive musical landscape that Stapleton is known for.

Stapleton’s upcoming album release caps off a remarkable year for the artist, who has already left an indelible mark in 2024. From delivering a stirring rendition of the National Anthem at the Super Bowl to clinching the coveted Entertainer of the Year title at the Academy of Country Music Awards, Stapleton’s achievements underscore his enduring influence and popularity in the country music scene. He also headlined the prestigious Stagecoach festival and embarked on the highly successful All American Road Show tour, solidifying his status as a top-tier performer.

Recently, Stapleton lent his talents to Carly Pearce’s single “We Don’t Fight Anymore,” further highlighting his versatility and collaborative spirit within the industry.

With Higher set to captivate audiences anew, Chris Stapleton continues to push boundaries and redefine contemporary country music, promising an album that resonates deeply with both longtime fans and newcomers alike.
